Ann Quinn: Secretary

Ann has lived in Big Sandy with her family since the late 70s. Her five children graduated from the local high school before getting married and starting their own families. While raising her five kids, she was involved in the PTA, the soccer program, Cub Scouts, she volunteered in Elementary School classrooms, and played piano for 32 years for High School students that were preparing for musical performances. She was also involved in the committees that were instrumental in the building of the Library in town and now the committee for the new swimming pool. She is also very active in her church. Ann brought all of this experience to her role as a member of the Board of Directors. She says, "Through the years of life and family I am very grateful for the Big Sandy Medical Center being open with qualified medical staff. All the employees have contributed to the success of this organization.
Amber Terry
2023
Amber brings extensive knowledge of the medical revenue cycle to the Board of Directors through her work with the Rocky Boy Health Board and the Tribal Health Department over the last 16 years. She is currently the Revenue Resource Division Manager for CSKT Tribal Health. Her knowledge is also put to work in her time as a Medical Revenue Cycle Consultant for Ft. Peck Tribes. She and her husband, Chauncy, own Central Machine and Ag Repair, and she has about 60 head of cows as well. As if that, her three kids, two dogs, and a Leopard Gecko are not enough to keep her busy, she also serves on the State Work Force Innovation Board, Big Sandy Rotary, Big Sandy Booster Club, the Chippewa Cree Cattleman Association, Chouteau County 4-H Council, and the Chouteau County Livestock Council. She looks forward to what is in store for the Big Sandy Medical Center.
Dr. Karen Baumann

Dr. Karen Baumann has been an RN for over 30 years. Throughout her career, she earned her Masters degrees in Nursing and Health Administration, and also her Doctorate of Nursing Practice. She has been involved in Quality Assurance, Informatics, and Leadership, and was also a travel nurse, bringing a wide birth of experience to the BSMC Board of Directors. She has been married to her husband, Ron, for 29 years. Together they have one daughter and a furbaby, Daisy, and two grand fur babies. She is retired now but does work full-time as a paraprofessional at the grade school. Being fluent in Spanish and Portuguese, she loves to travel and read in her spare time. Karen says, "I look forward to being a part of BSMC and continuing in the community spirit."
