Breastfeeding 101

For: All pregnant women with a desire to breastfeed who may deliver in the next 6-8 months

Breastfeeding 101 is an afternoon with our nurse Jessica, who is a Certified Lactation Counselor, mom of 3, and previous labor and delivery nurse. She will cover everything from the weeks leading up to delivery, the feeding your newborn in the first few months, myths and misconceptions, pumping and bottle feeding and so much more. This is a judgement free class that will be guided by those in attendance ensuring your specific questions and concerns are addressed, no matter if this is your first attempt at breastfeeding or your tenth. Jessica's philosophy is that breastfeeding is natural, but that doesn't mean it is easy. This is a learned skill for both mom and baby and the road to success starts with up to date information from a someone who understands the realities of life. Babysitting Class

For: Anyone ages 11-15 interested in learning more about babysitting

June 30 and July 1, 2026
8 am- 5 pm each day

Babysitting class covers all the basics of babysitting the first day, and CPR/First Aid the second day. The babysitting portion covers, feeding, diapering, conflict resolution, safety, etc, as well as, good business practices. At the end of the first day students will be Certified Babysitters through the American Red Cross. The second day will provide students with in depth training on CPR and First aid through the American Heart Association, ensuring they are prepared for emergencies when they are the 'responsible adult' in the room.
