Ron Wiens β Chief Executive Officer
Born and raised in Michigan yet drawn west to Montana over 35 years ago. Ron has been working in hospital settings for over 30 years, mostly in rural communities. He loves the can-do attitude of small-town residents and enjoys working with them to solve the challenges of operating a rural hospital. Ron and his wife Kim enjoy camping in the summer and spending time with their two adult children and their granddaughter, Lila.

Ashley Jacobi, RN, BSN β Director of Nursing
Ashley started at BSMC in her junior year of high school in the kitchen, then became a CNA and continued working through college. She graduated from Big Sandy High School in 2012 and earned her associateβs degree in nursing from Montana Tech in 2016, followed by her bachelorβs degree in 2018. Ashley spends her free time with her two kids, Oakley and Colt, and her husband Jarret.

Chris OβDell β Facility Manager
Chris moved to Big Sandy from Nebraska with his family in 2021. Before joining BSMC, he worked for the Montana DOT and previously the Nebraska DOT for 11 years. In his free time he enjoys home improvement, motorcycles, watching movies, and camping with his four children.

Dusty Allderdice β Materials Management, Medical Records & Emergency Preparedness
Dusty wears many hats at BSMC. She leads Materials Management, Medical Records, and Emergency Preparedness. A lifelong Loma/Big Sandy area resident, Dusty started at the BSMC clinic in 2010, became an LPT for the radiology department, and has grown into her current roles while continuing to provide X-rays. She became an EMT in 2015 and volunteers with the Big Sandy Ambulance.

Board of Directors
Big Sandy Medical Center is governed by a community-elected Board of Directors who serve as volunteer stewards of the facilityβs mission, finances, and strategic direction. Board members are elected by the community and serve staggered terms to ensure continuity.
Anna Bold β Chairwoman (since 2019)
A 4th-generation Montanan who lives and works on the familyβs farm and ranch northwest of Big Sandy. Anna holds a Bachelorβs of Science from Montana State University-Bozeman, where she received the MSU Septemviri Award. She has served on the Big Sandy School Board, as Booster Club President, chartered the FFA Alumni in Havre, and sits on several state agricultural boards. Anna works to understand the communityβs agricultural, academic, and wellness needs to ensure accessible, rural healthcare.
Amber Terry β Vice Chairwoman (since 2023)
Amber brings extensive knowledge of the medical revenue cycle through her work with the Rocky Boy Health Board and the Tribal Health Department over the last 16 years. She currently serves as Revenue Resource Division Manager for CSKT Tribal Health and consults for Fort Peck Tribes. She and her husband Chauncy own Central Machine and Ag Repair. Amber also serves on the State Work Force Innovation Board, Big Sandy Rotary, Booster Club, Chippewa Cree Cattleman Association, and the Chouteau County Livestock Council.
Ann Quinn β Secretary (since 2019)
Ann has lived in Big Sandy with her family since the late 1970s. Her five children graduated from the local high school. She has been deeply involved in the community through PTA, school volunteering, Cub Scouts, playing piano for high school musical performances for 32 years, and serving on the committees for the town library and the new swimming pool. Ann is also very active in her church.

Carissa Bergren (since 2025)
Carissa was born and raised in Montana and has over 20 years of experience in healthcare data, operations, and technology. She and her partner operate Flocking Good Farms in the prairies near Big Sandy, where they raise pasture-raised poultry. Carissa believes that a strong and healthy community depends on both reliable healthcare and a sustainable local food system.
